If you’ve spent any amount of time listening to the band MUTEMATH, surely at some point you found yourself air drumming your heart out. It happens to all of us. Drummer, Darren King can have that influence on you. He is recognized as one of the most passionate and talented drummers in music and the only thing more brilliant than his playing is his unique approach to capturing his sound. We spent days in the lab with Darren pulling together one of the coolest and most beloved samples libraries in our catalog. Unpolished and filthy in the best way possible, Darren’s drums are processed and pushed hard through API pre amps, various compressors, and Studer and Teac tape heads. This library offers a variety of kicks, snares, toms, and cymbals — all in greatly detailed multi-velocity samples. Couple these multi-velocities with hundreds of one-shots and a host of fully mixed beats and loops by Darren King. This is your opporunity to have the unique drum sounds of one of music’s most creative drummers.

3894 total one shot and multiple velocity samples, 7 kicks, 9 snares, 2 toms, 2 cymbals, 8 hat variations — each set of samples comes in 5 mix options: dry, natural, big, overheads, and 2 rooms
LOOPS
345 individual loops in .rex and .wav, tempos ranging from 80 – 144 bpm, variety of grooves and feels
PRESETS
Ableton, Reason, EXS24, Battery, Maschine 2, Trigger 2, and Kontakt 5 (full version — not the free Kontakt player).

EXPANSIONS
Vol. 1 offers new loops from producer Ruslan Odnoralov, presets for Kontakt, and complete, unedited performances from the original recording sessions. This expansion is a free update for anyone who previously purchased Darren’s library. If you’re not sure where to find the expansion files, this article should help.
