All samples were recorded, designed, and mixed in studios within The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain. This cultural and architectural complex is an icon of modern design, and it’s juxtaposition with Valencia’s centuries-old cathedrals and buildings served as the main source of inspiration for this collection of music and effects. A grand piano, hollow- body guitar, and vocals were the only instruments used to make the pack – all “unnatural” sounds were created with extended techniques and/or processing using analog pedals, digital effects, and intricate layering.
