\"1645035188-fc02f3b4d3a3898\"\uffe5These samples were recorded at the legendary United Recording, Studio A, featuring their iconic 72 input Focusrite Console. The centerpiece of the control room is a custom-built Neve 68 input 8068\/8088 console and a 10 input Neve BCM 10 with original 1073 mic-pre EQ\u2019s to bring the full studio experience. The pack was designed using legendary synthesizers and electric pianos, a grand piano, Pearl Reference Pure drums, with a Hybrid Exotic Snare and Zildjian K Custom Special Dry cymbals that the Ox helped design himself. All loops and one shots were processed and mixed by J3PO.<\/p>\n

J3PO and The Ox are both part of The Lesson GK, a dynamic group of talented musicians based in NYC and LA who fuse elements of funk, jazz, soul and hip hop to create progressive yet approachable music. Much of their sound was developed at their famed weekly jam session, \u201cThe Lesson,\u201d at Arlene\u2019s Grocery on the Lower East Side of New York City.<\/p>\n

Julian \u201cJ3PO\u201d Pollack is an award-winning keyboardist, producer, and audio engineer, known for his unique sound design and approach to the keyboard. Described by Timeout New York as a musician who \u201cdeftly balances virtuosity with tenderness,\u201d Julian has toured extensively with the legendary Marcus Miller, and has recorded\/performed with the likes of Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Kamasi Washington, and many others. He has produced award-winning tracks for numerous artists around the globe, and most recently composed the music for the feature film The Sound Of The Wind. His latest album Small Plates has garnered much critical success, and the single \u201cThe Crab\u201d has received millions of streams worldwide.<\/p>\n

Lenny \u201cThe Ox\u201d Reece\u2019s creativity and originality are one of a kind. The nuance and virtuosity of his playing are on another level. The Ox\u2019s mainstream success includes being the music director and drummer for DJ Premier, Joey Bada$$, SuperDuperKyle Jeremih, Demi Lovato, Run DMC, Kimbra and more.<\/p>\n
