Unlike its sample-driven cousins in New York and California, Southern hip hop dropped soulful keys, bluesy bass lines, and funky breaks played by live musicians on top of traditional drum machine programming. And although Houston and New Orleans helped lay the groundwork, the epicenter of the “Dirty South” was at the corner of Headland and Delowe, in the heart of Atlanta’s East Point neighborhood.

DISTINCTIVELY SOUTHERN
HEADLAND FLOW fuses thick grooves from traditional drum machines with live, funky breaks, R&B-flavored instrumentation, and gritty percussion. Fender bass, Fender Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster, and Les Paul guitars provide an authentic, analog vibe. Rhodes and Wurlitzer keyboards, flutes, and winds add melodic elements with atmospheric synths, harps, and strings for background texture. And painstaking recording and mixing methods give the sounds distinct Southern character.
SAMPLES AND LOOPS
Raw drum hits and one-shots come DAW-ready – plus tempo-based construction loops give you building blocks for inspiration.

384 <a href=""https://ttded.com""><span class=""outlinks"" data-link=""https://www.ttded.com"">Construction Loops
421 Drum Samples
293 One Shots
DRUM KITS
Kits come pre-assembled for MASCHINE and BATTERY, with color coding for BATTERY and FX-enhanced kits for MASCHINE.

58 BATTERY Kits
51 MASCHINE Kits
SYNTH PRESETS
Customizable presets for MASSIVE, MONARK, and PRISM by top sound designers give you the perfect sounds for your genre.

24 MASSIVE Presets
7 MONARK Presets
12 REAKTOR PRISM Presets
MASCHINE EXCLUSIVE
MASCHINE owners get editable patterns for building ideas fast.
