The original hardware Vertigo VSC-2 Quad Discrete Compressor built its reputation largely on the four, custom hand built, discrete \u201c1979\u201d VCAs used in its design. The plugin version of the VSC-2 captures every nuance of the hardware version and puts it right into your digital audio workstation.<\/p>\n

Quad Discrete VCA Compressor
The VSC-2 is Vertigo\u2019s first plugin release, made in close cooperation with Brainworx, and based upon Vertigo\u2019s \u201cBig Impact Design\u201d. The VSC-2 plugin captures all the fine nuances of this $6,000 flagship VCA compressor.<\/p>\n

Although the VSC-2 was developed as a Stereo Bus Compressor, each channel provides a complete set of controls that also allows the VSC-2 to function as a dual mono device in recording and mix situations.<\/p>\n

Plus you get a mono version for mixing situations, of course.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Other unique and innovative features lie beneath the bonnet, such as the ratio, which increases with amplitude in \u201cSoft\u201d mode. In this mode, the ratio positively corresponds to increasing input level, \u201ctip toeing\u201d in smoothly.<\/p>\n

Soft Mode: In soft mode the ratio starts at 1:1 and increases with input level up to 8:1. The compressor \u201ctip-toes\u201d into compression providing a nearly inaudible start of compression<\/p>\n

Brick Mode: In Brick Mode the VSC-2 becomes an analog Limiter, effectively cutting off Signal Peaks at the set threshold.<\/p>\n

SC Filters: These switches control the sidechain filters. In the 60 Hz or 90 Hz positions, those frequencies will be largely ignored by the compressor. In the off position, the sidechain filter is removed from the circuit.<\/p>\n

A) The first big change happened between All Bundle v3.0 and v3.1. Before
v3.1, there are no antidebug, antitamper, antirebuild things. There were
just C&R protection using SHA256\/RSA2048\/RC4\/BASE64.<\/p>\n

From v3.1, PA adopted protector which we call PA-Layer. (To be honest we
don\u2019t know the actual name of that protector. It looks different from the
popular cross platfrom protectors like VMProtect).<\/p>\n

A) Yes, AAX is protected much weaker. While core protection (C&R and related
crypto) is still obfuscated\/virtualized in AAX. We guess this is because
AAX needs digital signature by Avid, and some integrations of PA-Layer
conflict with it.<\/p>\n

NOTE : AAX Crack by VR will crash randomly due to the bad bomb dealing.
It delays the crashing but it still crashes by some random seeds
