We\u2019re now thrilled to present 30 Redd Hot Licks You MUST Know!<\/p>\n<p> &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>As you play your way through this versatile vocabulary of licks, phrases, and chord moves you\u2019ll discover that each of these licks can be twisted, turned, and otherwise tweaked to make them your own and to fit any musical setting.<\/p>\n<p> &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>\u201dOver the years, I\u2019ve been very fortunate to play and record across a wide variety of genres including traditional and new country, blues, jazz, rockabilly, and Western swing. Throughout this collection of 30 licks, I\u2019ll showcase a handful of my favorite approaches for soloing and improvisation \u2014 whatever style I happen to be playing \u2014 using techniques like chicken pickin\u2019, triple stop moves, licks that mimic the sound of a pedal steel, chord moves to help you get that sophisticated jazzy sound and much more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Redd will pass on a variety of approaches for contrary motion, counterpoint, and there\u2019s even a handful of \u201cthose cool, weird sounding licks\u201d too. You\u2019ll play this collection of 30 licks over shuffles, western swing grooves, waltzes, a ballad, and two beat grooves, in a variety of keys and tempos. Redd will perform each lick over a backing track, and then break it down for you in detail.<\/p>\n<p> &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Redd will explain and demonstrate all of the key concepts and approaches for each lick along the way. You\u2019ll get standard notation and tabs for everything. Plus, you\u2019ll be able to use TrueFire\u2019s learning tool to sync the tab and notation to the video and can also loop or slow down the videos so that you can work with the lessons at your own pace.
