It is now based on Sparkle 1.26.0, with several customizations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To avoid possible issues, SoundSource will no longer offer to \u201cInstall on Quit\u201d. Automatic background updating has been removed as well, placing the user in charge of all updates.<\/li>\n<li>The update interface has been improved, with several design and text enhancements.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, the new \u201cSkip for Now\u201d button allows you to delay updating if desired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As always, we strongly recommend leaving the \u201cAutomatically check for updates\u201d option enabled.<\/p>\n<p>Rare Startup Hang Fixed<br \/>\nA rare issue where SoundSource could hang at launch due to duplicate device entries has been fixed.<\/p>\n<p>AirPlay Bug Fixes<br \/>\nCorrections have been made to how SoundSource handles AirPlay devices. Per-app output selectors once again correctly exclude the AirPlay output. As well, the AirPlay output will no longer incorrectly appear when Music.app is set to play audio to an AirPlay device.<\/p>\n<p>Enhancements have been made <a href=\"https:\/\/xs.1ozy.com\/72\"><span class=\"outlinks\" data-link=\"https:\/\/xs.1ozy.com\/72\">to support for AirPods Pro and AirPods Max, with custom artwork for each model.<\/span><\/a><br \/>\nSoundSource now only affects input devices when necessary, reducing latency in many scenarios.<br \/>\nImprovements have been made for adjusting the audio of iOS apps running on M1 Macs.
