For those of you who know me, you know I talk a lot about visual texture. About the importance of those little details that make a big difference (even for a single frame).<\/p>\n
But sometimes, no matter what I do to add intricacy to my edits visually, it feels like there\u2019s an invisible wall I just can\u2019t seem to cross to get my edits where they need to be.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s only been in the past year or so that I\u2019ve realized that when you start adding texture and layers below the line in your edit<\/b> (not just above) \u2013 that\u2019s when films get really rich really fast. In other words, when you focus on the SONIC textures of a film as well as the visual textures, you can take it from good to great.<\/p>\n
THE ANALOGUE DIFFERENCE\u2026<\/b>
Inspired by the retro sci-fi aesthetic of films like Alien, Bladerunner, and Annihilation, I collaborated with the brilliant producer Bodytalkr \u2013 a true master of vintage analogue texture.<\/p>\n
We spent countless hours capturing various synthesizers \u2013 twisting and distorting sounds to create the perfect collection of samples.<\/p>\n
The result is a pack of over 100 sound effects and 5 musical scores<\/b> (PRO PACK ONLY) all designed to take your films to the next level.<\/p>\n
