Sampled through 60\u2019s valve preamps to worn tape to 44khz\/24 bit \u2013 no eq\/compression etc. Distortion and Wah plus external amps turns this into a monster! I\u2019ve created a few unexpected patches, to demonstrate the scope of the clavinet as a different type of synthesizable sound source. I\u2019ve used an extreme azimuth setting on the tape heads , giving a more \u2018damaged\u2019, brittle sound.
